    CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Co-Ed BJJ (aka., Brazilian Jiu-jitsu or Gracie Jiu-jitsu) - The BJJ class is a traditional gi class. No striking is involved. Only grappling. This is strictly a gi-grappling class. Learn the techniques made famous by the Gracie family.

Fundamental BJJ Class - Students practice techniques of basic self-defense. This class is composed of 17 lessons and covers everything the new student will need to know to earn their first belt, the blue belt. All white belts are strongly encouraged to take this classes in addition to any of the other classes that you would like to take, to get you ready for your blue belt.

No-Gi Class: The no-gi class is just like our gi classes, except without the gi (uniform).

Kids BJJ; "BullySafe"- This class is a special and unique class for kids ages 4-12 years old and their parents. Parents participate with their child (one parent per child max.) as they learn fun drills and games that teach them the fundamentals of grappling and self-defense. The classroom is big and we keep the older kids separated from the younger ones. If the class continues to grow, we will at some point separate the ages groups. Our goal is to build up your child self-confidence/self-esteem and teach them how to protect themselves from bullies without having to punch or kick another child. We teach the children to use "verbal Jiu-jitsu, before resorting to physical Jiu-jitsu". Parents and kids who take this class love it. Bring your child in for a free trial this Sunday!

Fight Simulation Class: This class is exactly what it sounds like. Every week the lesson is different. Sometimes we are working on our boxing, or kickboxing. Other classes may focus on self-defense when you are on the ground and your opponent is standing. Other class lessons may feature self-defense against multiple opponents or against weapons. Anyone can do this class. Beginners are welcome. Safety is our number one priority. This class is a lot of fun!
